I'm sure that many of you know that for my placement year I interned at Charlotte Mills, if you're not familiar then I'll introduce you... Charlotte Mills is a bridal shoe brand based in the UK. Charlotte's signature is an original silver sixpence thats fitted into the left shoe. A silver sixpence is a symbol of good luck and prosperity on your wedding day.
All Charlotte Mills Bridal Shoes have the traditional rhyme: 'Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue and A Silver Sixpence In Her Shoe.' embossed into the soles, it's a lovely feature that's unique to the brand. All aspects of this rhyme are covered in your Charlotte Mills shoe box:
Your Something Old is the Silver Sixpence
Your Something New is the Shoe
Your Something Borrowed is an envelope inside the shoebox that you send back to Charlotte Mills HQ with photographs of your wedding in.
Your Something Blue is the detail on the Instock and the shoebox itself
And 'A Silver Sixpence In Her Shoe' completes the rhyme.
But for now, I've started a little bridal/wedding inspiration Instagram- 'Blush and Bumble'. So if you fancy seeing some beautiful pictures pop up on your feed every once in a while then I'd love for you to follow me..
This post isn't sponsored, I just wanted to share some photos of these beautiful shoes with you.
With Love; Em x
Love this, these are so sweet - especially the soles! x
