Interning at London Fashion Week

Monday, 27 February 2017

It's been a while I know, the last few weeks have been manic. I'm so excited to tell you that I went to London Fashion Week with Charlotte Mills shoes last week, I had the time of my life. For tonights post I thought I'd talk you through what happened and what it was like to intern at London Fashion Week.

I'm currently interning with Charlotte Mills a luxury bridal footwear company. Charlotte's launching a RTW collection for A/W 17 and we were very lucky to be invited to showcase the collection at London Fashion Week Designer Showrooms. The Collection is called 'More Sugar' and it's absolutely dreamy. (See the photos below).

I made the journey down to London on Monday morning and came back home on the Tuesday, so I was there for the last two days of LFW. I've never been before so it was so lovely to be able to help out and have a good look around. I was predominately helping out on our stand, answering questions and talking to press and buyers. Explaining all about the new collection. After the showrooms closed on the Monday we headed out for some cocktails, on a rooftop bar which was beyond amazing. Then for some dinner at The Ivy Market Grill, the food was delicious and definitely deserved after a long day! Back to the showrooms on the Tuesday Morning, then I headed back home. I honestly had the loveliest time, and it was so interested to meet different designers and hear their take on LFW.

Did you attend LFW? I'd love to know in the comments! And if you're interested in some more information about interning, then check out the interning section in the categories bar, or click here!
