Autumn Favourites

Thursday, 27 October 2016

Lets talk about my current favourites and some new pieces! Some new purchases and some good old faithfuls that will stick with me every autumn for the foreseeable future..

A couple of weeks ago, I was in a rush to grab some foundation before going to Josh's for the weekend because my NARS foundation had ran out. This wasn't my first choice but everything else I wanted to try they didn't have in my shade. So I just grabbed this one in a mad rush to get the train. Long story short, for £10 it's a great foundation. It applies beautifully and it's probably the best match for my skin tone that I've ever found in a foundation. I'm using shade 1.5.N Linen.

I've seen this floating around the blogosphere for a while now, and I just had to try it. I've used the maybelline baby skin primer before but I never repurchased that, I wasn't 100% sold. I think this primer creates the perfect base for applying your foundation. It definitely smoothes out all my pores and lumps and bumps. However I've not currently noticed any difference in the longevity of my base.

I've mentioned this a few times before, but I honestly think it's the perfect deep red lipstick. Mac formulas are fantastic and this will be making a reappearance this autumn/winter! This Rimmel Nail Varnish is the perfect match for Diva so I'm forever pairing these two together!

If you didn't know already then I'll just summarise briefly now! I'm currently interning at Charlotte Mills helping out with their PR and Marketing. Charlotte Mills is a luxury bridal footwear brand, which have released a little RTW collection. Becky Black Bow is one of these styles!
I went along to help out at The National Wedding Show in Manchester over the weekend, and Charlotte very very kindly gave me these gorgeous shoes to wear for the event! I'm not normally a heels girl but these shoes are so statement and gorgeous I just couldn't resist! They will definitely be making an appearance on the blog in the future, especially near Christmas!

Because I'm a total nerd I decided to paint my nails multicoloured glittery to match the bow and block heel on my Charlotte Mills Shoes! So many people commented when I was at the show and I think it looked so cute, so I'll be using this combo again for sure!

What pieces are you loving at the moment, I'd love to know! Drop a comment below..
