HAUL: The Body Shop

Friday, 29 May 2015

I went into The Body Shop about a couple of weeks ago and picked up some goodies. After having 2 weeks or so to try out my new purchases I'm ready to share my thoughts with you all. If you've tried any of these products or have any suggestions then please comment below I would really love to hear your thoughts.

At first I was not overly impressed with this mask I expected it to sit on the skin differently, more like a clay mask would. However after a few more uses this mask has grown on me considerably and hope that it will continue to improve the condition
of my skin with more use. It's recommended that you use this product once a week, but at the moment I'm using it twice a week being as I'm going through a rather spotty phase at the moment.

I've noticed the biggest difference in my skin since using this product, it really is wonderful. I apply it onto my spots with my finger and just massage it in and let it get to work. I've noticed that my spots clear up a lot quicker now I've started using this. My only problem with this product is that it's a very small bottle and although it's not that expensive I'm half way through my bottle after only using it a couple of weeks.

After hearing a good review about this product I picked it up on my last trip to The Body Shop, and it is a good product. It's not amazing but it does the job, having an oil based eye makeup remover does make the chore of removing it much easier however I think there are much cheaper alternatives on the high street that will do the job just as well. I think I'm going to purchase the Garnier Eye Makeup Remover which is only £3.99 compared to this one which is £8

Whilst scouring the bloggersphere for a Mac Fix + dupe or something similar, this was mentioned. I was a little hesitant to spend £8.50 on a face mist but thought it was worth a shot. I wanted to use this mainly for when applying metallic eyeshadows to intensify the look and it does work. Would I recommend it? sure, if you frequently use metallic eyeshadows or you have dehydrated skin because it is great for adding a quick spritz of extra moister to your skin.

When I bought all of the above products from The Body Shop in Huddersfield there was an event on where if you spent x amount you got a free gift and some money off (I've forgot the exact numbers) anyway... This was my free gift and I was very pleasantly surprised, it's soothing and cooling on the skin and just a lovely simple product that I would definitely recommend.

Keep your eyes peeled for my skin care routine coming up on the blog in the next few days!

With Love; Em x
