High Street Haul

Thursday, 26 February 2015

I've definitely had the shopping bug recently I just can't get enough, I really should stop I think my bank account hates me. But on the plus side I've got lots of goodies to show you.

I went through a bit of a bad breakout about a couple of weeks ago so decided to purchase this cleanser from The Body Shop and I really love it, it's soothing on the skin, doesn't leave me with dry patches and it's definitely helped with my breakout. The outfit on the right was a total impulse buy the other week but it's probably my favourite purchase of the lot, especially the trousers. I wore this outfit out for a meal out on Valentines Day I styled it with some flat black pointed pumps from Primark, my big grey coat (because you'd be crazy to go out without a coat in England in February..) a black leather clutch and red lips (featured in the picture- linked) and it worked really well. But let just talk about those trousers for a minute. Oh lord are they comfortable, they fit great and they can really easily smarten up an outfit. I would 100% recommend these, they're a wardrobe essential.  My hair was in need of a bit of tlc so I picked up the Hair Masque earlier today and just used it (my hair is currently air drying as I'm writing this, so glamorous I know.. ) but it's amazing my hair already feels so much healthier and I've noticed a huge difference in my split ends after one use, amazing. After eyeing up the amazing selection of chokers on offer at River Island's website I ventured into the store this week and picked up this beauty, it's so simple and I think it'll go great with some of my other pieces, I love chokers as layering pieces.

With a night out planned for saturday I went out on the hunt for a new crop top to wear with my black trousers and I stumbled across this in Miss Selfridge, I haven't got a crop top in this style and I thought it would be great for summer. So I grabbed it and to go with it I picked up this eyeshadow palette, It's amazing. I was so pleasantly surprised it's so pigmented its amazing! I had a little play around with it the other day and I plan to wear the shade 'conker' with my new crop top on Saturday Night. I also picked up a pack of these nails, I wore them on valentines day weekend and painted them dark red and they looked so lovely, but for this weekend I've gone for a copper shade from topshop (which I was unable to find on the website but I believe its called 'Aurora').

So thats all for my Haul, but keep your eyes peeled for another post in the next few days!

With Love, Em x
