Lookbook: Daisy Lane

Sunday, 13 April 2014

Hello girlies,
Hope everyone is well, inspired by the wonderful weather that we've got going on today I put together this lookbook. Coming up on the blog in the next few weeks should be an outfit post, some OOTD's and a haul- a picked up a massive bargain today for only £7 so keep your eyes peeled for the haul coming up soon! Details of all the items I included are linked below! Enjoy! xo

I really love this dress I think it can be dressed up more than dressed down but with some very simple accessories this dress doesn't need much! Organza is such a lovely fabric and is what makes this dress so different from any other daisy print dress, I think this garment is a must have for summer!

I love the look of a wooden platform, I think its such a lovely shoe for the summer, and I would totally buy into the trend if it didn't mean I'd end up being like 6ft '5! What I really like about this particular platform is that it's a darker wooden heel, which I think makes it just a little bit different! Also with the black underlay of the dress and the white daisy petals, in my opinion mean that the shoes tie it all together.

Daisy Print in general makes me think of the 1960's- with the Mary Quant Daisy thing she had going on. So I thought that these wonderful simple Round Shades give the look a retro feel without going over board and overshadowing the wonderful Dress.

Supporting the boho/hippie/festival thing right now I included this lovely floral garland, daisy of course to go with the print dress. I think adding something like this just dresses down the outfit and adds a lovely girlie element.

Love; Em xo
